LOCATION The house is conveniently situated in a quiet residential area at the lower end of Allenhayes Road, within a few minutes walk of the town centre, quays, harbour and waterfront. A park with children's play area is located nearby.
VIEWS Stunning views of the harbour towards South Pool Creek, East Portlemouth and Snapes Point from the front bedrooms. Some views from the lounge and garden.
KITCHEN/DINING ROOM A newly refurbished and extended open-plan area is beautifully presented and equipped to a very high standard. The modern, attractive kitchen filled with natural light, has a range of fitted units, granite worktops, induction hob, electric double oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, microwave, nespresso machine, DAB digital radio and Sonos 'Play 1' system. The dining area has a large table seating eight comfortably. The adjacent UTILITY AREA is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
LOUNGE A delightfully light and sunny room with picture bay window offering a view of the estuary. Comfortably furnished with three double sofas, coffee and side tables, flatscreen TV (with Freeview HD and iPlayer feature), DVD player and iPod dock.
SITTING ROOM A cosy second sitting room has a two large sofas, a coal effect electric fire, additional TV with BTÂ Sport, Netflix and iPod dock.
BEDROOMS Four, all on the first floor. The master bedroom with wonderful estuary views has a King-size double bed, TV, wardrobe, dressing table and en suite with shower, wash-hand basin and w.c. The second bedroom is a twin with two single beds, wardrobe and dressing table. A further double has a 4'6" bed, bedside tables, cupboards and large walk-in wardrobe, whilst the fourth bedroom has a set of full-sized bunk beds, desk and hanging space. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels (excluding tea towels and beach towels) are provided.
BATHROOMS In addition to the en suite shower room (above) is a newly renovated (winter 2017) family bathroom on the first floor with bath, shower (over), wash-hand basin and w.c., and on the ground floor, a newly designed tiled shower room with w.c., wash-hand basin and underfloor heating.
BABY FRIENDLY EQUIPMENT A travel cot, highchair and child friendly plates and cutlery are supplied.
OUTSIDE To the rear of the house, accessed through the dining room, is a sloping garden as well as a sunny terrace with table and chairs for eight, sun loungers and barbecue.
PARKING A parking pass is provided for one car in the long-stay car park (5-7 minutes walk). Additional on road parking is usually available nearby.
OTHER INFORMATION Hot water and central heating by gas fired boiler. Telephone for local and incoming calls. High speed wireless internet broadband is provided.
