This detached cottage is situated in the village of Strathconon, near Muir of Ord, and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin with 1 trundle bed. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen. Dining room. Sitting room with woodburner. Note - The trundle bed in the twin bedroom sleeps the fifth person.

Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking for 1 car. Lockable bike storage. Enclosed lawn to the front, and garden to the rear with gravel, and decked area with furniture. Three well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 12 miles. Note: WiFi is limited. Note: No mobile phone signal, however house phone is provided. Note: Two steps at the cottage entrance. Note: Situated by the roadside.

The village is well-suited for bird watchers; in the location there are peregrine falcon, red kite, golden eagle, green woodpecker, siskins and treecreepers. From Inverness harbour there are boat trips on the Moray Firth to see one of the local dolphin pods, if you are in Rosemarkie you can also look out from the point as that is a good dolphin spotting area. The closest public swimming pools are in Dingwall and Inverness.
