Overview
A delightful pet friendly cottage that has a wood burning stove and wi-fi. Located in the village of Satterthwaite near Grizedale Forest in the Lake District and can sleep five people in three bedrooms. Three bedrooms: 1 x king-size, 1 x super-king-size (zip/link, can be made into twin beds upon request), 1 x double. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground-floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Utility. Living/dining room with woodburning stove.
Foresters Cottage is a comfortably furnished semi-detached cottage in Satterthwaite, near Grizedale Forest. The house has three bedrooms, all doubles but one with zip/link facility for a twin, and a family bathroom and downstairs shower room. On the ground floor is a cosy, open plan sitting room with a wood burning stove, dining area and views of the neighbouring countryside, along with a sizeable family kitchen and additional utility room. Outside is a large sloping garden around three sides of the property with picnic furniture on the significant lawn space and off road parking for two cars. With walks and activities almost on your doorstep with the neighbouring Go Ape adventures in Grizedale Forest, Foresters Cottage can be as relaxing or as exciting as you wish for your unforgettable family holiday in the Lake District. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

The small village of Satterthwaite is located a 15 minute drive from Newby Bridge, Lake Windermere, Hawkshead and Coniston in the Grizedale Valley. The village is ideally based to explore Grizedale Forest with its tree top adventure Go Ape, along with a number of low level walks and cycling paths throughout the valley. Satterthwaite has a village inn serving delicious food and the picturesque villages of Hawkshead and Coniston both have a wealth of amenities from village shops, antique shops, art galleries, eateries and traditional village pubs.
