A town placed near the Mendip Hills in Somerset. Axbridge boasts a fascinating history, it dates back to the 9th century, it is home to the 15th century King John's Hunting Lodge which is now a National Trust museum. Axbridge also has a cinema, a choice of pubs, a shop and a tearoom. The village hosts events, festivals and carnivals throughout the year. Visiit the Mendip Hills with its range of walking paths accompanied by astounding scenery, the Cheddar Resevoir also sits on the outskirts of the village and offers a good range of watersports for you to try.
