Edenhall is in Eden Valley, ideally placed for exploring the Lake District and the North Pennines AONB. The River Eden runs nearby and is known for its fishing. The area is also known for walking, cycling, canoeing and climbing. The Eden Gorge, between Lazonby and Armathwaite, is worth exploring, plus the local railway station on the Settle-Carlisle Railway.
