Rose Cottage is a detached, single-storey barn conversion set on the owner's smallholding, one mile from the village of Aislaby, five miles from Whitby in the North York Moors National Park. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double with comfy seating and one twin, as well as a bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is ample off road parking, a patio and a gravelled garden with furniture. Rose Cottage is an ideal holiday home for families with loads of things to see and do in the area. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

The village of Aislaby is situated in the rolling countryside of the Esk Valley, overlooking Sleights and just three miles from Whitby. The village offers sandstone cottages and an old church. There are many small fishing villages and resort towns in the area, including Whitby, which is famous for its Abbey, reached by 199 steps.
