Skipton is a wonderful town resting just outside the fabulous Yorkshire Dales National Park, home to beautiful landscapes and a plethora of walking opportunities. Skipton is known as 'The Gateway to the Dales' because of its prime location next door, and it is home to a host of amenities making it a fantastic base from which to explore your surroundings, including shops, pubs and restaurants, among the towns own local attractions like Skipton Castle, and the Leeds and Liverpool Canal which runs through the town.
