Moffat was developed in the 17th century to a spa town from a village, now stands as a bustling area in the Annadale valley. With dramatic buildings presenting architecture from the 18th and 19th centuries, the town is rich in history an heritage. With ample opportunities to walk and cycle to explore the beautiful lands of the area, as well as fishing being a regularly available activity, it's a wonderful place to visit to explore the natural settings. Not too far from the major cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh, Moffat makes a brilliant base for day trips to the surrounding areas as well as offering its own wonderful array of attractions.
