Whitby is a delightful fishing port located at the mouth of the River Esk on the fringes of the North York Moors National Park. With its coastline and atmospheric town, you can explore sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps. Robin Hood's Bay is also a lobely day out as is Scarborough further along the coast.
